Great question. I think AI Copilots will become ubiquitous, not having them available at a future employer will impact attracting and retaining talent. Organisations that are focussed on working out the value proposition and ROI will have worked out how to successfully adopt the technology and drive a return and will shift up a gear. Slow to adopt organisations will struggle to catch-up and maintain competitiveness.
I'm thinking that voice commands (just talking) to our systems and computers to provide an array of instructions will put a big dent into mouse and keyboard usage. So setting up a headset/mic etc to talk to an agent of some sort will be on the initial things to setup on a machine to start working.
It can take a reasonable amount of time to type up a prompt explaining in things just how we have conversations, using the mic is a real time saver.
